At Calvary Full Gospel Church, South Fayette, a 7 p.m. Wednesday evening service for adults is held outside (weather permitting). Bring a lawn chair. Enjoy worship, teaching, fellowship and snack. A Kids Club and Youth Group will also take place at 7 p.m.

At Christ United Methodist Church, Bethel Park, a free Pet Care and Adoption fair will be held 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. June 21. Hearts and Paws Pet Ministry of Christ U. M. Church and Westminster Presbyterian Church’s Pet Ministry will co-sponsor the event, which will feature about 36 animal rescue groups and 20 animal-related product vendors and services. There will also be canine training and agility demonstrations, pony rides, face painting and festival food. The fundraiser for Hearts and Paws Pet Ministry serves to assist area rescue groups and shelters find forever homes for their animals. No on-site adoptions are permitted, but applications will be taken and procedures followed according to the by-laws of each rescue organization.

At St. Thomas More Church, Bethel Park, the eighth annual MoreFest will take place nightly beginning at 6 p.m. June 18-21. Dinners begin at 5 p.m. and include: Irish Wednesday; German Thursday; Italian Friday; and Polish Saturday. There will be live entertainment, rides, a flea market, games, bingo and a $10,000 raffle.
