CASTLE SHANNON

Burglary arrest: Wayne Williams, 22, of 448 Hoodridge Drive, Pittsburgh, was charged with burglary and theft at 12:30 p.m. June 25, police said. Additional information was not available.

Criminal mischief: A back door to a residence on Lyndell Street was damaged, police said. The damage was reported at 12:50 p.m. June 24.

Window smashed: A vehicle window was smashed with a rock on Willow Avenue before 2:40 a.m. June 25, police said.

CECIL TOWNSHIP

Cash missing: Andrea Slebonick, 5 S. DePaoli Road, told police $1,400 in cash was missing from an envelope in her dresser drawer, township police said. The theft report was made at 4 p.m. June 21. The cash last seen June 20, police said.

Checks cashed: Theresa Gogarty, 30 Lynncrest Circle, Cecil, discovered two checks were missing from her checkbook and each was cashed for $100, township police said. The theft was reported at 9:16 a.m. June 20.

Laptops stolen: Three new black laptops in their boxes were stolen from State Farm Insurance, New Town Center, 1900 Main St., Suite 209, Southpointe, township police said. Each laptop is valued at $1,500. The theft was reported at 11:37 a.m. June 24.

Burglary: Four pieces of jewelry and change were reported missing from the bedroom at 255 N. DePaoli Road, at 6 p.m. June 25, township police said. The jewelry owned by Patricia and Arnold White is valued at $3,400, police said. There was no forced entry and the items were last seen June 23.

Two arrests: Two people were taken into custody at 12:30 p.m. June 25, after they were found walking on the Montour Trail near Morganza and Georgetown roads, township police said. Joshua Boston, 26, of 1269 Terrace St., Bridgeville, was placed in the Washington County Jail on two outstanding warrants for probation violations in Washington County and Allegheny County, police said. Jennifer Lawlor, 23, of 67 Rutherford Drive, Upper St. Clair, was charged with possession of controlled substances after police found 10 stamp bags of heroin and marijuana in a box, police said.

Mt. LEBANON

DUI and drugs: Linda Kittner, 58, of 1552 Barr Ave., Pittsburgh, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at 10:30 p.m. June 20, on Carnegie Drive, municipal police said. Kittner was also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

Underage drinking: Alex Gates, 18, of 785 Tralee Drive, Bethel Park, received a citation for underage drinking and public drunkenness at 1:02 a.m. June 22 on Roycroft Avenue, police said.

DUI and paraphernalia: Steven Nagel, 23, of 2112 Kenzie Drive, Pittsburgh, was charged with DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:36 a.m. June 23, on Cedar Boulevard, police said.

Burglary: An apartment on Mt. Lebanon Boulevard was entered and items stolen before 8:33 p.m. June 23, police said.

Front porch damaged: A front porch on Valley Park Drive was damaged before 8:34 p.m. June 21, police said.

Graffiti: Graffiti was painted on a building on Cedar Boulevard before 12:15 a.m. June 24, police said.

Tree on vehicle: A municipal tree fell on a vehicle parked on Woodhaven Drive before 11:30 a.m. June 18, police said.

Wire stolen: Copper wire was removed from a transformer substation on Cooke Lane before 9:30 a.m. June 24, police said.

Fraud: Three cases of fraud or attempted fraud were reported including a cellular telephone account that was opened using personal information of a resident on Thornwood Drive, police said. The fraud was reported at 3 p.m. June 18. Unauthorized charges were made to a credit card of a resident on Mayfair Drive, police said. The incident was reported at 4:47 p.m. June 21. A telephone call was received from an unknown caller asking for access to use a computer, a resident of Parkway Drive reported at 3:45 p.m. June 20, police said.

PETERS TOWNSHIP

Access device fraud: A man told police he ate in a restaurant in Waterdam Plaza June 5 and paid with his corporate credit card, township police said. When he discovered the card was missing later, he called the restaurant and picked up his card the next day, police said. However, the bank notified him the card was used without his authorization, possibly in Italy, with charges of $44,367, police said. The report was made at 11:12 a.m. June 21.

Tires slashed: A resident of the 900 block of Bebout Road parked his vehicle in the drive overnight from 10 p.m. June 22, until he attempted to drive the vehicle the next day, police said. The resident realized the tires would not hold air pressure and when he drove to a repair shop, he was told two of the tires were slashed. The criminal mischief was reported at 1:45 p.m. June 23, police said. The value of the slashed tires is $236.

SCOTT TOWNSHIP

Criminal mischief: Windows in a house on Rockhill Road were shot with a pellet gun between 2-2:30 p.m. June 24 township police said.

Burglary: Louis Iocca, 36, of 1556 McFarland Road, Pittsburgh, was charged with burglary and simple assault after he broke into his girlfriend’s house to assault her, township police said. The girlfriend was not seriously injured. The burglary and assault were reported at 11:15 p.m. June 25.

Endangering welfare of child: Denette Cherie Filmer, 41, of 820 Capitol Drive, Carnegie, was charged with assault and endangering the welfare of a child after police received a complaint of a woman beating her child inside and outside in the parking lot of Walmart at 6:54 p.m. June 26, police said. The police report was forwarded to Children, Youth and Families services, police said.

Money stolen: Money was stolen from the purse of a visitor at Harbor Assisted Living before 9:30 a.m. June 27, police said.

Burglary: A residence at 436 Chatham Park Drive, told police someone entered the residence through a rear sliding glass door and stole an unknown amount of money, police said. The burglary and theft were reported at 12:30 p.m. June 27.

DUI arrest: Michael Iorio, 30, of 244 Orchard Spring Drive, Pittsburgh, was charged with DUI following a one-vehicle accident when his vehicle crashed into a driveway retaining wall at 456 Orchard Spring Road, at 1:09 p.m. June 29, police said. Iorio was released to a responsible adult.

SOUTH FAYETTE

Refrigerator stolen: A refrigerator valued at $1,000 was stolen from a house under construction on Farmview Drive in the Berkely Ridge plan, township police said. The refrigerator is owned by Heartland Homes. The theft was reported at an unspecified time June 23.

Street signs stolen: Two street signs on Martha and Anderson streets were reported stolen between 3 p.m. June 24, and 7 a.m. June 25, township police said. The signs are valued at $180.

Harassment charge: Jeffrey Alan Smith, 33, of Brookledge Road, in the Hunting Ridge development, received a citation for harassment following an incident at the Hunting Ridge swimming pool at 2:10 p.m. June 24, township police said. Smith is accused of staring at a woman who had a diaper bag and of asking her for a diaper, police said. He has been accused of similar incidents several times in the past at the pool, police said. Smith usually tells the women he has a child on the playground and forgot to bring diapers, police said. He is banned from the pool and playgrounds in the residential plan, police said.

Construction material stolen: A front door, valued at $660, and a pile of wood, valued at $591, were stolen from a house under construction in the Walnut Ridge plan off Battle Ridge Road, township police said. The theft occurred June 6, but was not reported to police by the project manager for Ryan Homes until June 26, police said.
