At Beth Israel Center, Helen Faye Rosenblum will speak on the topic “Jewish Short Stories” at 7:30 p.m. March 30 as part of Beth Israel’s Lecture Series.

At St. Germaine Parish, Bethel Park, Lenten reflection with guest speaker Anne Kertz Kernion will take place at 7 p.m. March 31.

Sponsored by St. Germaine Ladies of Charity, Kertz Kernion will present Lenten Lessons from Silence: Gentleness, Compassion and Love.

Kertz Kernion holds a masters degree in theology from Duquesne University and is a 14-year adjunct professor of theology at Carlow College. She is also the owner/artist of Cards by Anne, an international greeting card company specializing in inspirational messages. At Peters Creek Presbyterian Church, Venetia, the Easter Cantata “Witness” will take place at 11 a.m. April 6. The cantata by Lloyd Larson is a dramatic musical presentation which covers the life, death and resurrection of Christ in a fresh and powerful way. At Covenant Community Presbyterian Church, Green Tree, a Western Fun Night, sponsored by Peanuts Square Dance Club, will be held 7:30-10 p.m. April 8 for ages 9 to 90, featuring line dancing, square dancing and various mixers. At St. Thomas More Church, Bethel Park, Eucharistic Adoration follows the 11:30 a.m. Mass every Wednesday. The rosary is recited after Mass. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is recited at 3 p.m. Recited evening prayer begins at 7 p.m. followed by Benediction.

At Jesus Fellowship, Bethel Park, a ladies Bible study, a seven-week video series with Priscilla Shirer titled “Jonah – Navigating a Life Interrupted,” will be held from 7:30-9 p.m. every other week, through June 16.
