Little Lake begins search for new artistic and managing directors
The Board of Directors of Little Lake Theatre Company has formed a search committee to begin the process of recruiting a new management team. The committee will be chaired by Little Lake actor, director and board member Art DeConciliis. The other members of the committee include board president Kevin Gallagher, vice president Bruce Crocker and treasurer Bob Rak, along with retiring artistic and managing directors Sunny Disney Fitchett and Rob Fitchett.
“We are fortunate to be able to tap into Art DeConciliis to lead the board in this search,” Gallagher said. “Art’s long history with Little Lake Theatre, together with his many years of experience in the business world, is an important asset as we find candidates to carry on our mission to bring top-quality productions, training and educational outreach to the community. Our founder, Will Disney, began this mission; and Sunny and Rob Fitchett carried it forward. Now, the search is underway to find the stewards who will take the Theatre into its next growth phase.”
The Board is now accepting resumes and letters of inquiry for the artistic director position, and will continue to do so through Nov. 28. Candidate interviews will be conducted during the months of December and January with the goal of naming a new artistic director by mid-January 2015. After such time, the search process for the managing director position will commence.
