Heather Kropf to perform at Club Cafe
Pittsburgh recording artist Heather Kropf will headline at Club Café on Nov. 21. Kropf will share the stage with Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Cariad Harmon, who will be celebrating the release of her new album … a slow-burning set of piano-based torch songs and acoustic-guitar ballads.
A prominent fixture on the Pittsburgh music scene, Kropf was born in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of Mennonites immersed in an ethnic-religious tradition of A Cappella singing and 4-part harmonies.
Kropf, along with band members Jeff Berman (vibraphone), Pete Freeman (pedal steel), Chris Parker (guitar), Randall Venturini (bass) and Alex Peck (drums), will perform songs from her recently released album, “Chrysalis.”
Club Café is located at 56-58 South 12th Street in Pittsburgh. The show is open to those 21 & older.
Tickets at $10 are available at www.ticketweb.com or by calling 866-468-3401.
