‘The Miracle Worker’

Little Lake Theatre Company presents “The Miracle Worker” by William Gibson, the triumphant and inspirational story of the work between Annie Sullivan, a forward-thinking and determined teacher, and her pupil, Helen Keller, a child locked in a mysteriously silent and uncommunicative world.

The cast of 17 includes several area students, including Rueben Brock, a fifth-grader at Washington Park Elementary School; Carly DeCock, an Upper St. Clair High School freshman; Myra Gohring, a third-grader at Hills Hendersonville Elementary School; Nora Hoyle, a third- grader at St. Thomas More School; sisters Lily Lauver, a Mt. Lebanon High School sophomore, and Sophie Anne Lauver, an eighth-grader at Mellon Middle School; Martha McElligott, a sixth-grader at Boyce Middle School; and Lindy Spear, a fifth-grader at North Strabane Intermediate School.

“The Miracle Worker” plays at 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, through Nov. 22.
