BETHEL PARK

Retail Theft: Police responded on Nov. 12 at 1:45 p.m. to the Shop N’ Save store at 5001 Library Road and apprehended Teddy Szalla, 27, of Thomas Ave., Pittsburgh as he ran from a store employee after taking items from the store, police said.

Retail Theft: Police arrested Harley Hardy, 34, at the Giant Eagle store on Route 88 on Nov. 13 after he was found stealing items from the store, police said.

Theft: A contractor reported to police on Nov. 13 that some of his equipment stored on a site along Industrial Boulevard had been stolen.

Assault, theft: Police responded to a fight at Level 20 bar, 1033 Paxton Drive, and arrested Anthony Blefere, 33, of 1524 Beechview Ave., Pittsburgh, and charged him with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, indecent assault, theft, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and public drunkenness.

CASTLE SHANNON

Assault: Purri Morris, 55, of Hoodridge Drive, Pittsburgh, was arrested on Nov. 8 for simple assault, police said.

Drug violations: Police arrested Bradley Credo, 31, of Carlton Drive, Bentleyville, on Nov. 10 for drug violations, police said.

Criminal mischief: Police received a report on Nov. 10 of an archery arrow through siding on a home along Belleville Street.

Retail theft: A business in the 3600 block of Library Road reported to police on Nov. 7 that someone had stolen a carton of cigarettes.

CECIL

Theft: Management with Unique Gifts, 19 Mayview Road, Lawrence, reported to police at 1:44 p.m. Nov. 10 that $800 worth of steel shelving was stolen from the rear of the business over the weekend.

Vehicle theft: At 3:05 p.m. Nov. 13, officers in Southpointe pulled over a vehicle with expired plates and registration to find passenger Kenneth S. Lewis, 291 E. Prospect Ave., Washington, was wanted in Colorado for vehicle theft. Lewis was arrested on the outstanding warrant and faces additional charges for giving police a false name. Police said Lewis was placed in the Washington County jail and would be extradited to Colorado.

Theft: Daewood Engineering, 11 Grandview Circle, reported to police Nov. 11 that a company credit card was taken out of one of the desks between Oct. 25-26. The credit card was used at a Sheetz in Pittsburgh and Wal-Mart in Steubenville, police said.

Theft: A piece of copper bar and 35 feet of copper wire were stolen from a cell phone tower in the 300 block of Profio Road, Cecil, on Nov. 14, police said.

PETERS TOWNSHIP

Criminal mischief: Between Nov. 15-16, there were 10 reports of damaged or destroyed mailboxes on Fox Run, Double Tree Drive and Maid Marion Lane. Police said some were damaged with pumpkins.

Road rage: At 2:09 p.m. Nov. 15, a woman reported to police that a man was driving aggressively and harassing her while driving north on Washington Road. Ronald Stoner, of Laurel Drive, McMurray, was charged with harassment, police said.

Criminal Mischief: A resident in the 100 block of Trenton Circle reported to police at 11:30 a.m. Nov. 10 that his pumpkins were found smashed in the road and his mailbox post had been split.

Retail Theft: Officers responded Nov. 11 to a 3:30 p.m. call to TJ Maxx, 3945 Washington Road, after a suspected shoplifter fought with a loss prevention agent. Allison C. Zapadka, 29, of Sheldon Ave., Pittsburgh, had several items hidden in her purse and was charged with retail theft.

Accident: A two-vehicle crash left one person injured Nov. 13 after a driver in a Toyota pickup truck slammed into the back of a car around 5:30 p.m. in the 4000 block of Washington Road. Police said Ugo Crivelli, 51, of Clinton, rear-ended a car driven by Todd Andrews, 50, of Eighty Four, that left passenger Beth Andrews, 49, of Sugar Camp Road, Finleyville, with a head and neck injury. She was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment.

Retail theft: Police were notified around 2:30 Nov. 13 that an individual at Max & Erma’s restaurant, 4093 Washington Road, was wanted on an active warrant. Police said they arrived and arrested Anthony Shane Coleman, 25, of Maple Ridge Drive, Canonsburg, on an outstanding warrant for retail theft.

Drug violations: Officers observed at 12:55 a.m. Nov. 14 a black Pontiac Grand Am driving erratically on E. McMurray Road. Police pulled the vehicle over on Heritage Meadows Drive and were in the process of identifying the occupants when the owner of the vehicle pulled up behind the officers in a red Ford pickup truck. Kara Twardowski, 26, of Highland Ave., Yorkville, Ohio, was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to appear in court for drug charges. A passenger in the Pontiac, Gerard C. Glass, 53, of Sycamore St., Washington, was wanted on a drug warrant. Both were arrested and placed in jail, police said.

SCOTT TOWNSHIP

Overdose: Medics revived a 22-year-old woman from a heroin overdose with Narcan after she was found unresponsive in the women’s bathroom of Shop N’ Save on Nov. 4, police said.

Burglary: Police responded to a Nov. 4 call at 1312 Royal Oak Drive for a possible burglary after residents reported things were moved around and $20 in change was missing. Prints were taken from the scene as police investigate, an officer said.

Burglary, Theft: A storage facility owned by MJ Flaherty Plumbing was entered between Nov. 5-7 as owners reported to police that 190 brass valves and 100 copper fittings had gone missing.

DUI: Kathleen Nagy, 50, of Castle Shannon, was arrested for DUI after she was observed inhaling duster solvent and passing out, causing the vehicle she was driving to go 75 feet through the yard on Scrubgrass Road, police said.

Assault: Officers responded on Nov. 8 to Little Caesar’s after a customer threw a cash register that struck a 16-year-old employee and left the store. Police said Ryan DiPietropolo, 39, of Cubbage Street, Carnegie, will be charged with assault.

Harassment: Police responded on Nov. 6 to call for a disturbance in the 400 block of Carothers Ave. and arrested Shawn Gamber, 42, of 711 Cubbage St., Carnegie, for public drunkenness and harassment.
