Six local schools teamed up with St. Clair Hospital Foundation to raise funds for the Hospital’s Breast Care Center during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Students at Baldwin, Bethel Park, Chartiers Valley, Mt. Lebanon, Montour and Upper St. Clair all sold pink bandanas at “Pink Out” football games, bake sales and throughout their districts to raise more than $4,000 to support the Breast Care Center.

The Center offers education, early detection, treatment services and the most advanced diagnostic imaging technology. The money also supports programs and services needed for women in the community, including free mammograms for the uninsured.

St. Clair Hospital Foundation presented each school with a “Pink Out Champion” plaque to display as a thank you for the students’ generosity and support.
