At Canonsburg United Presbyterian Church, the Canonsburg/Houston Ministerial Association will hold its 31st Annual Free Community Thanksgiving Dinner from noon-2 p.m. Nov. 27 in Fellowship Hall. All are welcome.
At Christ United Methodist Church, Bethel Park, Under Wraps: The Gift We Never Expected will take place 7:15-8:30 p.m. Wednesdays, Dec. 3, 10, 17. Register at christumc.net.

At Sisters of St. Francis of the Providence of God, Castle Shannon, the monthly Soup Take Out fundraiser will take place Dec. 10, featuring wedding soup, chicken n’ dumpling soup or loaded baked potato soup for $5 a quart (includes two dinner rolls). Orders must be placed no later than Dec. 4 by calling 412-885-7232 or emailing info@osfprov.org. Soup orders can be picked up from 3-6 p.m. Dec. 11 at the Sisters’ Motherhouse, located at 3603 McRoberts Road. In addition, the Sisters’ Gift Shoppe is open during take out pick-up and will hold a special 50 percent off sale. Franciscan Blend fair trade coffee is also available at the Motherhouse for $9.99/12 oz. bag.
At South Hills Assembly, Bethel Park, a Thanksgiving Dinner for those spending the holiday alone will be offered from noon-2 p.m. Nov. 27 in the Fellowship Hall. Reservations required at 412-835-8900 ext. 180.
