AARP providing nonpartisan election guide
In a summer survey, nearly half of voters over age 50 said it’s difficult to find “objective, reliable” information about candidates. AARP has released a voting guide free of hyperbole and attack ads. It can be found at www.aarp.org/yourvote. Once on the page, fill out your address for a personalized voting guide. Hit submit, then click “start ballot” for a page-by-page breakdown of the stances on issues from those running for congressional representative of your area, state senator and house members and a run-down of the governor’s race.
