Lindberg – Bucey
Savannah Lindberg and Matthew Bucey were united in marriage June 14 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Upper St. Clair. The 4 p.m. ceremony was officiated by the Rev. John W. Neely Jr., uncle of the groom, and the Rev. Dr. Tammy Yeager. A reception followed at the Hilton Garden Inn, Southpointe.
Savannah is the daughter of David and Anita Lindberg of North Strabane, and Joe and Estella Barton of McKeesport. Her grandparents are the late David and Hannah Lindberg of McKeesport, Ann and the late James Loizes, also of McKeesport, and Gus and Kathy Bernola of Washington.
The groom’s parents are Jeff and Patty Bucey of McMurray. He is the grandson of the late John and Mary Alice Neely of McMurray, and the late Mantzel and Elvina Bucey of Burgettstown.
Serving as matron of honor was Deja Barton of Irwin, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ashley Canning of North Strabane, cousin of the bride; Christine Dujmic of Elizabeth, friend of the bride; and Megan Vance of North Strabane, sister of the groom.
Jeff Knell of McMurray, friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jay Barton of Irwin, brother-in-law of the bride; Tyler Purkey of Grovetown, Ga., friend of the groom; and Andy Vance of North Strabane, brother-in-law of the groom.
Jasper Vance, nephew of the groom, and Noah Barton, nephew of the bride, served as ring bearers.
The bride is a 2007 graduate of Peters Township High School and a 2011 graduate of Slipper Rock University where she earned a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She is a fifth grade elementary teacher in the Chartiers Valley School District.
The groom is also a 2007 graduate of Peters Township High School and a 2010 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, University Park, where he earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting. He is the financial reporting manager for ANSYS, Inc.
After a honeymoon to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic, the couple make their home in North Strabane.
