Downton/Dahntahn Abbey fundraiser both elegant and informal

Renaissance & Baroque and The Pittsburgh Camerata will hold their annual fundraiser, Downton/Dahntahn Abbey, at 4:30 p.m. April 12 at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in Shadyside. Downton/Dahntahn Abbey will offer two events in one. Guests can mingle upstairs where wine and elegant savories will be served, and then wander downstairs/dahntahn to enjoy beer and snacks, Pittsburgh-style.
Attendees are invited to dress in 1920s-style clothing. There will be a silent auction on both levels and musical entertainment provided by members of the Camerata and R&B musicians.
The Pittsburgh Camerata is a professional chamber choir that specializes in the entire choral repertory with a unique focus on Renaissance/Baroque and 20th century works.
Renaissance and Baroque of Pittsburgh presents historically informed performances of music from the Medieval through the Early Classical periods.
