Secret Cinema celebrates sixth event with Bruce Willis theme

April 10
Secret Cinema
After two years of successful fundraisers, Steel City Secret Cinema will host a screening of a “secret” Bruce Willis film on April 10 at the Hollywood Theater in Dormont. The fundraiser will benefit The American Diabetes Association of Western PA and the Hollywood Theater. Since it was founded in 2012, Secret Cinema has raised more than $12,000 for local charities.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the secret screening starting at 8:30. A Bruce Willis film-themed art gallery will feature 10 local artists, including Seth Storck, Dave Slebodnick and Adam Chizmar. Renowned artist Zeb Love will design the event’s limited edition 18×24″ screen-printed poster, to be revealed after the film. The evening will also have raffle drawings, music by Pittsburgh’s own PANDEMIC and trivia on the big screen.
Giant Eagle Market District and Eat’n Park will provide the food, and Draai Laag Brewing Company will be on hand with free beer for all guests 21 and over.
Tickets at $20 for general admission are on sale now at steelcitysecretcinema.com.
