BRIDGEVILLE

Retail theft: Police arrested Mary McDonald, 25, of Masontown, March 31 for retail theft at the Rite Aid in Bridgeville. Police searched McDonald and found stolen items in her pocket. She then told police there was another stolen item in the car that she was in.

BETHEL PARK

Theft: Chiristine Ripepi, 34, of Bethel Park was arrested April 2 for theft at the Giant Eagle Market District, police said.

CASTLE SHANNON

Public drunkenness and weapons: Todd Parrish, 51, of 514 Lydia Street, Carnegie, was arrested March 28 in the 3600 block on Library Road for public drunkenness and a weapons charge, police said.

DUI and leaving scene: Rick Evans, 31, of 105 Cozy Lane, Harrison City, was arrested March 29 in the 3100 block of Library Road for DUI and leaving the scene of an accident, police said.

CECIL TOWNSHIP

Indecent exposure: Police are looking for white male with brown hair who is said to be in his late 30s or early 40s, who exposed himself March 31 to a female in the parking lot of a Subway restaurant on Miller’s Run Road in Cecil.

MT. LEBANON

Possession of a controlled substance: Patricia Brannan, 52, of 1 Third Ave., Apt. 808, Carnegie, was arrested March 26 at Manor Place for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Public drunkenness: Courtney Morgan, 24, of 135 Abbeyville Road, Apt. 109, Pittsburgh, was cited March 30 for public drunkenness on Church Place, police said.

Marijuana and drug paraphernalia: Dylan Fernia, 19, 2307 Sarnac Ave., Pittsburgh, and Marco Shallo, 18, of 518 Rosemore Ave., Pittsburgh, were arrested on Florida Avenue March 8 for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Retail theft: Pamela Tarasovich, 53, of 3202 Hazelhurst Ave., Pittsburgh, was arrested for retail theft March 24 on Cooke Lane, police said.

Possession of a controlled substance: Jesse Reis, 32, of 221 Pointview Road, Apt. 1, Pittsburgh, was arrested March 24 on Washington Road for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Public drunkenness: Harry Hilbert, 29, of 2856 Ardsley Road, Pittsburgh, was arrested March 28 on Sleepy Hollow Road for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness, police said.

Harassment: Police cited Gabriel Faccenda, 25, of 23 Marhoeffer Drive, Apt. D, Pittsburgh, and Matthew Vaughan, 27 of 4115 Dog Leg Drive, Apt. 807, Presto, for harassment March 28 on Dan Drive.

Public drunkeness: Louis Zoller, 68, of 125 12th Street, Homestead, was cited for public drunkenness March 30 on Scott Road.

PETERS TOWNSHIP

Disorderly conduct: Brian R. Hanlon, 18, of Windermere Court, McMurray, was told by police March 31, not to park his vehicle in a faire lane at Donaldson’s Crossroads on Washington Road. According to reports, Hanlon called the police an expletive. Police told Hanlon was in a public place and not use obscene language. Hanlon called police another expletive, at which point he was cited for disorderly conduct.

DUI, speeding charges: Police stopped Timothy W. Gruber, 49, of Linden Road, Canonsburg, April 1 for driving at a high rate of speed on Washington Road. After pulling Gruber over, police detected a strong odor of alcohol. Gruber will be charged with DUI and speeding, according to reports.

Charges pending: Charges are pending against an Upper St. Clair man for driving his car over an embankment on Bebout Road near the Peters Township Recreation Center April 1. According to reports, police discovered an abandoned car owned by Joshua D. Chojnicki, 30, of Johnson Road, Upper St. Clair. Police went to Chojnicki’s home and were told by his wife, Lauren Rump, 31, that he was not home. When the car was being removed from the embankment, they spotted Rump, who said she was looking for her husband. They returned to Chojnicki’s home and found him hiding in the backseat of Rump’s car. The incident remains under investigation.

Theft: Police responded to a call March 31 at Great Clips, 3855 Washington Road. According to police, the shop manager said an employee failed to make the night deposit. Police charged Dena Caruso, 30, of Fallowfield Avenue, Pittsburgh, with theft by failure to make required disbursement of funds received.

Theft: Police are investigating a theft at a residence in the 100 block of Bittersweet Circle, Venetia, that was reported April 3. According to police, the owners of the home returned home from vacation and noticed a credit card and an electronic game console were missing. The incident remains under investigation.

Three-vehicle accident: One person was injured in a three-vehicle accident that took place the afternoon of April 3 in the 3800 block of Washington Road. Police said vehicles driven by Lisa M. Grimm, 47 of Galaxy Drive, West Newton, and Diane Tatano, 48, of Walnut Street, Houston, were at the stop light at the intersection of Washington and McMurray roads when a vehicle driven by Robert Stopevich, 74, of Linden Road, Canonsburg, hit the car driven by Grimm and pushed her into the rear of Tatano’s automobile. No one was cited, but Andrea Hoffman, 54, of Heslap Street, Donora, a passenger in Grimm’s car, complained of neck pain and was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment.
