At Fawcett U.M. Church, Bridgeville, those with spiritual needs are invited to drop prayer requests at the prayer station, located outside of the church. Paper and pencils are provided for passers-by who want to leave a request. The box is locked and covered, to keep requests protected and private. This is the fifth anniversary of the prayer station.
At Our Lady of Grace Church, Scott, the Second Sunday of Easter, or Divine Mercy Sunday, will be celebrated on April 12. There will be a Holy Hour with Procession with the Blessed Sacrament, Prayer and Benediction beginning at 3 p.m. For more information, call Kathy at 412-276-3374.
At South Hills Assembly of God, Bethel Park, a Men’s Fellowship Breakfast is set for 9 a.m. April 11. Free breakfast, testimonies and fellowship with a Biblical message. Dads, bring your sons.
• Spring Adult Classes, 7 p.m. Wednesdays, April 8-July 1. Topics include Basic Beliefs, Demonstrate God’s Power: The Practice of Miracles; Giving Christ 1st Place; James; Sanctuary Bible Class on Colossians; The Battle Plan for Purity; and The Grave Robber.
• Pastor Steve Tourville will be the guest speaker at the 9 and 11 a.m. services on April 12. Pastor Tourville is the superintendent of the PennDel Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God.
• Women of Excellence, hosted by Pastor Sue Willis, 6:30 p.m. April 13 for women of all ages. “Victorious Living” will encourage, equip and empower through the word of God. Light refreshments, fellowship, worship and the Word.
• Lunch Bunch Bible study and luncheon for ages 65+, noon-2 p.m. April 16 in the multi-purpose room. Cost is $6 and includes lunch. RSVP by April 14.
• Royal Rangers Spaghetti Dinner, 5-7 p.m. April 18. Cost is $7 for adults, $5 for children or $25 for a family of two adults and three children. Tickets are available Sundays at the church.
