April 25
Harmony Singers
The Harmony Singers of Pittsburgh will present its 47th annual spring show at 8 p.m. April 25 and 2:30 p.m. April 26 at the Chartiers Valley Intermediate School, Green Tree.
This year’s show, “Let’s Get Away From It All,” combines songs that feature different modes of transportation and vacation escapes. Selections from the show include “Come Fly With Me,” “Come Sail Away” and “Kokomo.”
While the Harmony Singers is primarily a choral group, its annual show includes several choreographed numbers and a tap dance.
Cynthia G. Pratt is the choral director; Carol Karl is the accompanist.
Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and children under 12 and are available from cast members or at the door. Discounted tickets ($9 for groups of 10 or more) may be purchased in advance by calling 724-941-5343.
A free-will collection to benefit Watchful Shepherd USA, which works to prevent child abuse, will take place after each performance.
