Air Force Airman David D. Galloway graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Galloway is the son of David Galloway of Canonsburg, and Marion Jackson of Pittsburgh. He is also the brother of Drew Galloway of McDonald, and grandson of Daniel Galloway and Barbara Wiener, also of McDonald. The airman is a 2012 of Canon McMillan High School.
Stephen J. Tupta was commissioned a 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Air Force at a ceremony on December 19. A 2010 graduate of Peters Township High School, he attended Virginia Tech where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in aerospace engineering. While attending Virginia Tech, Stephen was a member of the Cadet Corps and Air Force ROTC. His father, Major John Tupta (USAF retired), administered the oath of office. His mother Carol Tupta, brother, Captain Shawn Tupta (USAF), and girlfriend Jordan Newkirk each pinned on his rank insignia. Stephen is presently stationed at Columbus AFB, Miss., where he is training to be a USAF pilot.
Air Force Airman Evan M. Bott graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Bott is the son of Christine Bott of Carnegie and Michael Bott of Bridgeville, and the grandson of Mildred Bott, also of Bridgeville. He is a 2012 graduate of Chartiers Valley High School.
