BRIDGEVILLE

Arrested: Police arrested Robert Bey, 18, of Pittsburgh stemming from a March 31 theft at a local business. Bey is charged with burglary, theft, criminal conspiracy and loitering and prowling at night. Pittsburgh police recently arrested Bey for leading them on a chase in the car he stole from Bridgeville. They found Bey illegally possessed a handgun and charged him accordingly, police said.

DVD theft: Katlyn Schmude, 20, of Bridgeville and Brooks Morrison, 26, of Presto, were arrested April 13 for taking 80 DVDs from a house on Mill Street. Schmude and Morrison were both charged with theft and criminal conspiracy, police said.

DUI and firearm: David Cygan 63, of West Alexander was charged with DUI and firearm not to be carried without a license April 14 following a traffic stop.

CASTLE SHANNON

Outstanding warrant and DUI: Police arrested Hunter Dowless, 22, of 2003 Potomac Ave., Pittsburgh, April 12 for DUI on Library Road and having an outstanding warrant.

Simple assault: Michael Puccio, 31, of 417 Hoodridge Drive, Pittsburgh, was charged April 12 with simple assault, police said.

Drug violations: Billy Martin, 20, of 1345 Grove Road, Pittsburgh was charged April 16 with drug violations on Hamilton Road, police said.

CECIL TOWNSHIP

Money missing: The owner of the Southpointe Fieldhouse, 104 Cecil-Hendersonville Road, Cecil, told police that he noticed $450 missing from the register April 19. The case remains under investigation.

MT. LEBANON

Marijuana and drug paraphernalia: Nathan Relich, 21, of 29 Sunnyhill Drive, Pittsburgh, was arrested April 8 for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.

Simple assault: Ethan Kaufman, 21, of 97 Poplar Drive, Apt. 1, Pittsburgh, was arrested April 10 and charged with simple assault, harassment and endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

Aggravated assault: Police charged Joseph Campagna, 20, of 5915 McPherson Road, Bethel Park, April 11 with aggravated assault and criminal mischief on Bower Hill Road.

Access device fraud: Joseph Welding, 29, of 318 Washington Road, Apt. 110, Pittsburgh, was charged April 11 with access device fraud and criminal mischief on Washington Road, police said.

Theft: Items were reported taken April 13 from a car parked in the driveway of a home on Cedar Boulevard, police said.

PETERS TOWNSHIP

Accident: Justin Gompers, 21, of 111 Dogwood Circle, McMurray, was taken to Canonsburg Hospital following a one-car accident in the 100 block of Brook Drive in Venetia April 16. According to police, Gompers was westbound on Brook Drive and hit an unoccupied Jeep.

Criminal mischief: Someone threw a bottle of Worcestershire sauce and meat sauce April 19 onto the driveway of a house in the 100 block of Lakeview Drive. Both bottles shattered, splattering the contents.

Public drunkenness: Police responded to a call April 18 at Peterswood Park in Venetia. Upon arrival, they found Ann M. Sexton, 50, of Bebout Road, Venetia, sitting on a curb by a car with the driver side door open. Sexton told police she recently had hip surgery and fell. According to police, Sexton had slurred speech, glassy eyes and appeared confused. Two witnesses said they saw her in her car drinking from a container. Police found the container, which Sexton said belonged to her husband. She then collapsed and was taken to Canonsburg Hospital. Sexton will be cited with public drunkenness and having an alcoholic beverage in the park.

SOUTH FAYETTE

Juvenile arrested: Police arrested a 17-year-old male juvenile April 11 for stealing cigarettes from the 7 Eleven store, 850 Boyce Road, Bridgeville.
