Mothers Against Cancer Comedy Show set for May 8

Funky Bum Entertainment presents the Mothers Against Cancer Comedy Show/Fundraiser at 8 p.m. May 8 at the Royal Place, located on Library Road.
Comedian Ty Mac, who has performed on HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam,” “BET Comic View” and at the Improv Comedy Clubs, will headline the event. Other performers will include Chris Chardi, Evan DeWitte and Sharon Dale.
Ty Mac (Tyrone A. McKelvia) lost his mother, Evelyn Clark, to cancer in January, and will donated proceeds from the event to Our Clubhouse (formerly Gilda’s Club Western Pennsylvania) to help in the ongoing fight against cancer.
Doors open at 7 p.m. A 50/50 raffle and Chinese auction will also be held.
