At Crossroads Church of Christ, Venetia, will offer a free, one-day vacation Bible school 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 15 for children ages 4-12. At Fawcett U.M. Church, Bridgeville, those with spiritual needs are invited to drop prayer requests at the prayer station, located outside of the church. Paper and pencils are provided for passers-by who want to leave a request. The box is locked and covered, to keep requests protected and private.
