At Church of the Atonement, Carnegie, a Community Flea Market is set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 15, featuring clothes, household items, books, records, toys and more. Vendors wanting to reserve lawn space for $10 must register with Joyce at 412-276-0366. Vendors need to supply their own tables or blanket or tarp, and a chair.

At Crossroads Church of Christ, Venetia, will offer a free, one-day vacation Bible school 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 15 for children ages 4-12. At “The Amazing Grace,” children will complete various challenges as part of the day’s events. Lunch will be provided. At Fawcett U.M. Church, Bridgeville, those with spiritual needs are invited to drop prayer requests at the prayer station, located outside of the church. Paper and pencils are provided for passers-by who want to leave a request. The box is locked and covered, to keep requests protected and private.

At Peters Creek Evangelical Presbyterian Church, the community is invited to worship at 11 a.m. in the Parish Hall of St. David’s Episcopal Church, Venetia. Each class includes small group discussion and an hour-long video featuring Jeff Cavins, Sarah Christmyer and Dr. Tim Gray, who show how to establish a deeply personal dialogue with God through the Psalms.
