Upper St. Clair School Board voted to approve the personnel listings submitted by Superintendent of Schools Dr. Patrick O’Toole, pending receipt of paperwork and clearances. The action came at the board’s Aug. 3 Committee of the Whole meeting.

O’Toole said the majority of positions were for long-term substitutes for the school year. In addition, change of status from temporary professional employee to professional employee was approved for Cynthia Baird, Jaclyn Covelli, Amanda Haas, Rebecca Kabala, Erica Kristan, Megan McGrath and Ashley Thomas, effective Aug. 20.

Also approved were extracurricular activity positions, most of which were renewals.

In other business, the board noted the retirement of bus driver Robert Fish. Fish retired in June after 13 years of service.
