Block Party

Blind & Vision Rehabilitation Services of Pittsburgh announces an art show and exhibit featuring works created by adults with disabilities.

Block Party is on display through Sept. 30 at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh, with an opening reception planned from 5-7 p.m. Aug. 13. Art and craft items will be available for purchase, with proceeds going to the programs for adults with disabilities.

The Community Transition Program at BVRS seeks to develop, improve and expand life-long learning opportunities for adults who have physical impairments or developmental delays. Clients participate in creative activities including arts and crafts projects, building and assembly, and shape and color sorting.
