Shadyside Art Festival

Shadyside … The Art Festival on Walnut Street will take place Aug. 29 and 30, between South Aiken and South Negley avenues. Hosted by the Shadyside Chamber of Commerce, the 19th annual summer tradition features the finest exhibitors in the country, hand-selected by an independent panel of expert judges.

Stroll through the eclectic exhibits of original art ranging in price from $25 to $30,000, meet more than 200 artists from 30 different states and learn about their work – a vast array of artistic media including paintings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, glass, wood, handmade jewelry, collage and mixed media.

The public is encouraged to register to win the free art giveaway featuring the work of a participating artist.

Admission is free and open to the public. Hours are 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.
