Bassoon It Will Be Christmas
The Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra presents “Bassoon It Will Be Christmas” at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 19 at the Upper St. Clair High School Theater.
“Bassoon It Will Be Christmas” is the title of a witty re-working of carols for three bassoons with orchestral accompaniment. In addition to holiday music for the whole family, the concert will feature a high-spirited bassoon concerto by Mozart performed by Linda Morton Fisher, principal bassoonist with the Pittsburgh Opera, Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre, Civic Light Opera and the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestras.
Tickets may be purchased at the door for $15/adult, $10/senior and $5/ student age 13 and older. Children 12 and under are free. Groups of five or more adults pay just $5/person.
