Holiday concerts
The South Hills Chorale will perform its regular holiday concert program Dec. 18 and 19 at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Upper St. Clair. Performances start at 7:30 p.m.
A variety of choral works will include both traditional and contemporary selections, including the Chorale’s take on several holiday standard melodies such as “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm,” “The Little Drummer Boy” and the well-known “Gloria” tune. The singers will also chime their voices in “The Bells,” celebrate nature’s musicians in the “Carol of the Birds” and revel in the joy of the Jewish holiday with “Hanukkah Nagilah.” Tickets are $15 in advance through Chorale members or at the door. Tickets may also be purchased by calling Pat Moraytis at 412-221-9109.
• The South Hills Chorale will hold auditions in January as it begins preparing for a new season. For details, contact Elaine Moore at 412-780-9336, or email her at emoore0869@gmail.com.
