Peters Township police are looking for help from the public to identify the driver of a minivan that struck a 95-year-old man on a lawn tractor Wednesday and fled.

Police said a newer minivan driven by a white man struck the rear of a lawn tractor driven by Arthur R. Ulrich, who was on his way to collect his mail about 3:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Bower Hill Road. The victim was initially taken to Canonsburg Hospital for a shoulder injury and later was flown by medical helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital, according to police.

Police are asking anyone who has more information about the accident to call 724-942-5030.
