• Worship as Entrance into God’s Presence, 7 p.m. Jan. 14 and 21. Edith M. Humphrey, professor of New Testament at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, will present key ideas in her book “Grand Entrance: Worship on Earth as in Heaven” and show worship’s prominence in both the Old and New Testaments, and compare various worship settings today. • Grief Support Seminar, 7 p.m. Jan. 20. The monthly program uses the Grief Share video and workbook series to explore 13 topics, including common responses to death, asking for and accepting help, forgiveness and holiday times. RSVP and purchase of personal workbook required.
• Financial Peace University, 7 p.m. Mondays, through March 2. Financial Peace University teaches God’s ways of handling money through videos, class discussions and interactive small group activities. Cost is $93 (includes book and class materials).
