Two Peters Township football teams captured championships in the Greater Route 19 league.

The Red 12 squad, which consisted of 12-year-old players, defeated Bethel Park, 35-0, while the PT Black, which consisted of players ages 10 and 11, edged South Fayette, 12-6, in triple overtime. The Super Bowl games were played in November at Dormont Stadium.

The PT Red compiled a 10-0 record while the PT Black finished 9-1 on the season.
