Tropical Forest Congo

Be among the first to view the new “Tropical Forest Congo” exhibit at Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.

At a special opening celebration, set for 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Feb. 7, family-friendly activities will include a storytelling performance, African-inspired food sampling, cultural crafts and a pot-a-plant station – all free with Phipps admission.

The exhibit features some of Africa’s lushest landscapes, including varieties of flora never before showcased at Phipps, and information on how indigenous tribes use plants to sustain and enrich their lives.
