Bethel Park
Counterfeit bill: Police said a counterfeit $100 bill was used at Wal-Mart, 5055 Library Road, June 30. The bill was seized and turned over to the Secret Service. The incident remains under investigation.
Shoplifting arrest: Daniel Karalagas, 45, of Bethel Park, was arrested July 1 for shoplifting at Shop ‘n Save, 5001 Library Road, police said.
Drug arrest: A traffic stop July 2 near the intersection of Pine and Main streets for a traffic violation led to the seizure of narcotics and related items and the arrest of Gary Sonberger, 48, of Pittsburgh, police said.
Arrest and drug violations: Employees at Sheetz, 4599 Library Road, called police to say there was a male passed out at the wheel of a running vehicle. Upon arrival, police said they found Jared Clemens, 32, of Washington, to be in possession of narcotics. He was taken for a blood test and arrested for a probation detainer out of Washington County.
Castle Shannon
Public drunkenness: Mindy Marbell, 35, of 111 Beedle Circle, Pittsburgh, was cited June 23 on Castle Shannon Boulevard for public drunkenness, police said.
Cecil Township
Handgun stolen: Adam Petris, of 418 Georgetown Road, Lawrence, told police July 4 that a Smith & Wesson 40 caliber handgun had been taken from his vehicle.
Tools missing: A chain saw, blower, a weed whacker and a socket set were reported missing July 3 from a garage belonging to Joseph Chirumbolo, 7 Ridge Street, Hendersonville, police said.
Mt. Lebanon
Intoxication and drugs: Police arrested Kamin Polens, 20, of 859 McNeilly Road, Pittsburgh, June 26, for public drunkenness and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Narcotics possession: Police arrested Jennifer Harshman, 27, of 837 Steuben St., Pittsburgh, June 28 on Washington Road for possession of narcotics.
Peters Township
Theft: A resident of the 200 block of Village Green Drive, McMurray, told police July 4 that she had workmen inside her house and discovered a silver-plated music box that she kept jewelry in was missing. Also missing was a diamond ring and four other rings valued at more than $10,000.
Flag stolen: An American flag valued at $50 was reported taken from a residence in the 100 block of Lintel Drive, McMurray, July 4, police said.
Unit burglarized: Someone broke into a storage unit located at TARR Storage, 3054 Washington Road, July 2. A number of boxes that contained model trains, as well as an adult bicycle, $12.50 in quarters and a beach cart were taken, police said.
Tool theft: A construction worker doing renovation at 3901 Washington Road told police July 6 his work tools are missing. The incident remains under investigation.
Two-vehicle accident: A vehicle driven by Cindy Robich, 46, of Finleyville, pulled out onto East McMurray Road near Thomas Road and struck the passenger side of a car driven by Michael B. Johnson, 44, of McMurray, who was eastbound on East McMurray Road. No one was hurt, police said.
