• Frank Kosir Jr. is of counsel to Meyer, Unkovic & Scott and part of the Real Estate and Lending, Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Corporate and Business Law and Construction Law groups. Kosir has significant experience in all areas of real property law. He represents clients in a wide range of matters, including commercial and residential real estate tax assessment appeals, commercial and residential sales and leasing, oil and gas lease negotiations, boundary line disputes, title defense, commercial and residential landlord-tenant proceedings, quiet title proceedings, eminent domain proceedings, condominium creation and amendment, construction disputes and zoning and land use issues. A graduate of Washington & Jefferson College and Duquesne University School of Law, Kosir resides in McMurray.
• Antoinette C. Oliver is an associate at Meyer, Unkovic & Scott and part of the Business Litigation, Insurance Coverage Litigation, Employment Law & Employee Benefits and Intellectual Property groups. Her practice involves representing clients in commercial disputes in both state and federal court, including claims for breach of contract, fraud, negligence, Uniform Commercial Code, insurance coverage and collection matters. She also focuses her practice on intellectual property law including trademarks and trade secret litigation. In addition, Oliver has substantial experience in defending clients against products liability, personal injury claims and employment law matters. She is a graduate of Smith College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, and resides in Mt. Lebanon.
The partners of the certified public accounting firm of Goff Backa Alfera & Company, LLC have promoted Matthew B. Sarver, CPA, to manager. Sarver, of Castle Shannon, spends the majority of his time providing auditing services to clients in a variety of industries, including nonprofit organizations, manufacturing and professional services. In addition to his normal managerial responsibilities, Sarver will be responsible for assisting with the firm’s quality control areas and his specialty areas, which include ERISA plans and HUD audits. Sarver is a magna cum laude graduate of Robert Morris University with a bachelor of science degree in accounting. He became a certified public accountant in 2009.
