The Pittsburgh Blues Festival, the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank’s largest annual event, will take place July 24-26 at Hartwood Acres. Gates open at 4 p.m. on Friday and 1:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

The weekend includes a full line-up of national and local blues music, including Buddy Guy, Dana Fuchs, The Nied’s Hotel Band, Marcia Ball and Bobby Rush. Food and merchandise vendors and a KidZone are also part of the fun.

On Friday, admission is free with the donation of a bag of non-perishable grocery items.

Tickets are $38 in advance/$45 at the gate on Saturday, and $20 in advance/$25 at the gate on Sunday. Or, purchase a two-day weekend pass for $53 in advance/$65 at the gate. In the past 20 years, the event has raised more than $2 million to fight hunger.
