Peters Township Recreation Center will sponsor a free concert from 7-9 p.m. Aug. 5 at Peterswood Park outdoor amphitheatre as part of its Summer Concert Series in the Park. Bring a picnic and a blanket or chairs and enjoy a performance by Scott Blasey, lead singer of The Clarks. In addition to his success with the Pittsburgh-based band, the singer, songwriter and guitarist has established a successful solo career with the release of three acclaimed albums.

In case of inclement weather, the concerts will be moved indoors to the Community Recreation Center.
