Mt. Lebanon
Drugs and theft: Police arrested Allison Schyattner, 41, of 954 Sleepy Hollow Road, July 6 on charges of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and retail theft.
DUI minor: Michael Yantz, 20, of 104 S. 14th Street, Pittsburgh, was arrested July 10 and charged with DUI minor, misbranding, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
Peters Township
Two vehicle accident: Two vehicles had to be towed from the scene of an accident July 13 near the intersection of Waterdam and Galley roads. According to police, a vehicle driven by Natalia Geracitano, 17, of School Road, New Eagle, was northbound on Waterdam Road and collided with a vehicle driven by Dawn R. Albert, 47, of Bridle Trail, Venetia, who was southbound on Waterdam Road.
Retail theft: A man put eight packages of Crest White Strips valued at a total of $488 into a shopping basket at Kmart, 4041 Washington Road, McMurray, on July 11. He then ran out of the store through the garden department and into a waiting car that was parked in front of the store, police said. The incident remains under investigation.
Simple assault: Police were called to the Grand Slam Lounge, 4205 Washington Road, McMurray, July 19, for a simple assault incident. According to police, Hobart Moore Jr., 23, of Pineview Drive, Canonsburg, had been drinking at the bar, where he is employed. Allysha Reppert, 20, of Taylor Drive, McMurray, also an employee and Moore’s former girlfriend, offered to drive him home. In the parking lot of the bar, however, Moore became upset, slammed the doors on Reppert’s vehicle, and then began to choke her. Upon hearing the commotion outside the bar, the owner, G. Thomas Grande, went outside to help. Grande fired Moore, who then assaulted him. Moore was charged with two counts of simple assault.
Two vehicle accident: Two vehicles had to be towed following an accident July 17 in the 2800 block of Washington Road. According to police, Patrick T. Vopal, 18, of Pinetree Drive, Pittsburgh, was driving southbound on Washington Road, but failed to notice traffic was stopped. He hit the rear of a vehicle driven by Andrew Maulk, 47, of Climax Street, Pittsburgh. Maul was taken to St. Clair Hospital complaining of neck and head pain.

iPhones taken: Police said that two iPhones valued at $749 each were stolen July 16 from the AT&T store at South Hills Village Mall.
Fleeing scene: Police arrested Joshua Snatchko, 24, of Midway, for fleeing the scene of an accident July 13 in the 1500 block of Bower Hill Road.
Castle Shannon
Simple assault: Police arrested Charles Hendershot, 29, of 950 Wilamit Drive, Bethel Park, July 9 and charged him with simple assault.
Simple assault: Todd Gilbert, 50, of 3735 Myrtle Ave., Pittsburgh, was arrested July 16 and charged with simple assault.
