DCI event to feature seven elite marching corps

Drum Corps International and the Baldwin Highlander Music Patrons will host a DCI International Event at Baldwin High School Stadium.
The event, set for 7 p.m. Aug. 2, will feature seven elite summer marching corps, including: Blue Knights, Denver, Colo.; Boston Crusaders, Boston, Mass.; Cascades, Seattle, Wash.; Oregon Crusaders, Portland, Oreg.; Pioneer, Milwaukee, Wisc.; Spirit of Atlanta, Atlanta, Ga.; and The Academy, Tempe, Ariz.
Gates open at 5:30. Due to the size of the event, parking on site will be limited and there will be shuttle buses from offsite parking nearby at First Commonwealth Bank on Route 51 South. The Baldwin Highlander Music Patrons will be serving hot dinner foods and funnel cakes at the concessions stand all evening.
The Baldwin Highlander Music Patrons is a nonprofit corporation created for the purpose of supporting and promoting in-school and extra-curricular instrumental and vocal activities in the Baldwin-Whitehall School District.
Tickets range from $20-$35 per seat (plus processing fees) depending on location in the stadium, and group tickets are also available.
