At Church of the Atonement, Carnegie, a Community Flea Market is set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Aug. 15, featuring clothes, household items, books, records, toys and more. Vendors wanting to reserve lawn space for $10 must register with Joyce at 412-276-0366. Vendors need to supply their table(s) or blanket or tarp, and a chair.

At New Day Assembly of God, Upper St. Clair, Pastor Tommy Reid will preach at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Aug. 2. Pastor Reid has authored numerous books, including “How to Live Out Your Dreams.” He grew the congregation of a church in his hometown of Buffalo, N.Y., from just over 100 members to more than 5,000. At South Hills Assembly of God, Bethel Park, an Electronics Recycling and Data Destruction Event is set for 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 1 in the parking lot. Specific items will be recycled for free, with some requiring a disposal fee. A portion of the fees will benefit Compassion Connection.
