Award-winning Slovakian children’s choir coming to Pittsburgh

Slovak Children’s Choir

The Western Pennsylvania Slovak Cultural Association will bring one of the most famous choirs in Slovakia to Pittsburgh.

Pro Musica-Magnolia has represented Slovakia in international competitions throughout Europe and Mexico, winning 18 gold medals, 10 silver and three bronze. Their repertoire includes classical and popular music, as well as traditional folk songs and dances of the Zemplin region.

The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. June 30 at Synod Hall, adjoining St. Paul Cathedral in Oakland.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $7 for children 12 and under, $17 each for groups of 10 or more adults, and $5 each for groups of 10 or more children. Make checks payable to WPSCA and mail to: Manor Oak Two, Suite 500, 1910 Cochran Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15220.
