Public drunkenness: Police arrested James Thomas, 40, no permanent address; Narisimha Nayak, 47, of 1 Trimont Lane, Pittsburgh, and Elizabeth Lahoff, 62, of 446 Sleepy Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, for public drunkenness May 30 on Willow Avenue.
Drug violations: Kelly Tombs, 41, of 5481 Main St., Bethel Park, was arrested May 31 for drug violations on Castle Shannon Boulevard, police said.
Simple assault: Sean Zimmerman, 24, of 3921 Lyndell Street, Pittsburgh, was charged June 2 with simple assault.
Drug violations: Mara McCreary, 19, of 4628 Sherwood Dr., Pittsburgh, was charged June 2 with drug violations, police said.
Cecil Township
Bikes taken: Adam Lohr, 65 Southview Road, told police two blue Huffy mountain bikes were taken off of his front porch June 3.
Mt. Lebanon
Drug paraphernalia: Mark Washington, 21, of 1538 Harlow St., Pittsburgh, was arrested May 6 on Bower Hill Road for possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
Marijuana possession: Police arrested Branden Greer, 29, of 135 York Street, Marion, Va., May 17 on Baywood Avenue and charged him with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Drugs and careless driving: Alleia Daniel, 21, of 1505 Oakwood Drive, Pittsburgh, was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia May 20 on Washington Road, police said.
Aggravated assault: Police arrested Patrick Nydegger, 26, of 3408 Parkview Ave., Pittsburgh, May 21 on Bower Hill Road and charged him with aggravated assault.
Possession of drugs: Vincent Paonessa, 36, of 205 Sleepy Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, was arrested May 23 on Castle Shannon Boulevard and charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance and possession of an offensive weapon, police said.
Disorderly conduct: On May 27 on Lemoyne Avenue, police cited Andrew Bracken, 28, of 265 Lemoyne Ave., and Lauren Lawson, 27, of 694 Washington Road, Apt. H, with disorderly conduct.
Peters Township
Two-car accident: A car driven by James Butcher, 32, of E. Carson St., Pittsburgh, was southbound on Washington Road waiting to turn into Donaldson’s Crossroads June 1 when his vehicle was struck in the rear by a car driven by Andrew Labarbera, 21, of Meadowbrook Drive, Canonsburg. Labarbera told police he was not aware that traffic had stopped.
Accident and possession: A Library man will be charged by summons for possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving with an expired registration. Police said Brandon Anthony, 22, of Piney Bluff Drive, cut suddenly in front of a vehicle driven by Theresa Murphy, 57, of Fieldbrook Drive, McMurray, June 2 in the 4200 block of Washington Road, causing her to strike Anthony’s car. No one was hurt.
Theft from cars: Police said someone broke into an unlocked car on Troutwood Drive in Venetia June 6 and took $200 in cash. On June 8, a shoulder bag containing gift cards and cash were taken from an unlocked car on Fox Creek Road in Venetia.
Simple assault: Police arrested James J. Wilding Jr., 50, of Washington Avenue, Carnegie, and charged him with simple assault and harassment June 7. According to police, Wilding struck his estranged wife, who lives on Snowberry Circle in Venetia, with a closed fist. She refused medical attention.
Drug possession: Police stopped Andrew Sherill, 23, of Locust Circle, Canonsburg, on Waterdam Road in McMurray June 7 for driving with an expired inspection sticker. According to police, a strong odor of marijuana was detected. Sherill admitted to having marijuana and a glass pipe. He was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a valid inspection sticker, police said.
Two-vehicle accident: A Pittsburgh woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident that took place June 8 at the intersection of Washington Road and Circle Drive in McMurray. According to police, Heather L. Gaussa, 36, of High Sierra Circle, was on Circle Drive attempting to turn left onto Washington Road when she was struck by a vehicle driven by Michael Uriah, 59, of W. Grant Street, Houston. Gaussa was taken to St. Clair Hospital for treatment of neck and arm pain.
South Fayette
Parts theft: Police arrested Richard Pustovhr, 25, and Jamie McGinnis, 26, both of Houston, May 24 for stealing car parts from Biber’s Garage, 102 Shady Lane, Oakdale. Both men were charged with theft and harassment, police said.
