Young Artist winners to perform with PCO
April 4
PCO concert
The Pittsburgh Civic Orchestra’s 56th season continues with music inspired by popular television shows. On April 4, the PCO celebrates “America’s Got Talent” by featuring the winners of the annual Young Artist Competition. The concert will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Upper St. Clair High School Theater.
This year, the PCO musicians will be joined by two exceptionally talented student musicians from the South Hills. Violinist Ziqi Meng from Mt. Lebanon High School will play “Scherzo-Tarantelle” by Henryk Wieniawski. Pianist Ariana Chiu from Upper St. Clair High School will play “Piano Concerto #3 in C major, Op. 26, Andante-Allegro” by Sergei Prokofiev.
Tickets at $15 for adults, $10 for seniors and $5 for students 13 and older can be purchased at the door. Children 12 and under are free. Groups of five or more adults pay just $5 per person.
