Allegheny County road restrictions; PennDOT hosts online meeting

PennDOT crews will be do paving, drilling and research work on various roads in Allegheny County March 31-April 2, weather permitting. Intermittent, short-term lane restrictions will occur in each direction as needed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. according to the following schedule.
March 31: McLaughlin Run Road in Bridgeville Borough and Upper St. Clair Township from Bower Hill Road to Truxton Drive
April 1: Greentree Road in Scott Township from Scrubgrass Run to Greentree Road (Route 121).
April 1: Waterline repair work near the intersection of Cochran Road and Greentree Road in Scott Township. Lane restrictions will occur from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
April 2 : Noblestown Road in Scott Township and the City of Pittsburgh from Short Street to Poplar Street
As motorists note their own detours and travel times, PennDOT officials are asking the public to participate in an online transportation meeting April 16. As part of the Twelve Year Transportation Program, interested parties are asked to register at www.TalkPATransportation.com to provide input on their transportation priorities for the virtual meeting.
The program, which serves as a blueprint of prioritized transportation projects, is updated every two years through a cooperative effort among the State Transportation Commission (STC), PennDOT and its 24 regional planning partners. The goal is to enable all Pennsylvanians to contribute their priorities and suggestions.
