Tools taken: Police said multiple tools were taken from a contractor’s van that was parked at the Lowe’s parking lot, 5775 Baptist Road, on April 30.

Warrant arrest: Danielle McConnell, 36, of Bethel Park, was arrested May 1 on a probation violation detainer warrant from Allegheny Adult Probation.

Warrant arrest: Joshua Gressem, 26, of Clairton, was arrested May 1 on a felony warrant from Bethel Park.

Retail theft: Kimberly Massari, 50, of Venetia, was charged with retail theft at Shop ‘n Save, 5001 Library Road, May 1, police said.

Theft and intoxication: Elysha Otterstrom, 28 of Uniontown, was charged with retail theft and public intoxication May 2 at Walgreen’s, 1741 Washington Road, police said.

Simple Assault: Police arrested Timothy Dey, 32, of 941 Arch Street, and Nicole Crites, 30, of 1129 W. Grant Ave., Duquesne, April 26 on Arch Street and charged them with simple assault.

Simple assault: Chelsea Zatezalo, 21, of 957 Bockstoce Ave., was charged with simple assault on April 26, police said.

Public drunkenness: John Walsh, 37, of 3843 Willow Avenue, was charged with public drunkenness April 28, police said.

Drug violations: Jon Donovan, 32, of 771 Cooke Drive, was arrested April 28 for drug violations, police said.

Drug violations: Christopher Eisengart, 20, of 6381 Whitewood St., Library, was arrested April 28 for drug violations, police said.

Disorderly conduct: Police cited Bradley Taylor, 23, of 938 Oakdale Ave., April 29 with disorderly conduct on Mt. Lebanon Boulevard.

Theft and forgery: Gerald Ward, 55, of 1021 Vermont Ave., was charged with theft and forgery April 29, police said.

Drug and vehicle code violations: Police arrested Reginald Turner, 20, of 232 Riefert Street, on April 30 for drug and vehicle code violations.

CECIL TOWNSHIP

Charged in assault: William M. Jonas, 60, of 117 Patio Drive, Canonsburg, was charged last week by Cecil police with aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault and endangering the welfare of children, after he allegedly had inappropriate contact with a girl between May 2005 and August 2006 at a Cecil home. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of Senior District Judge Jay Dutton.

PETERS TOWNSHIP

Two tags taken: South Hills Kia on Washington Road told police that license plates on two of its cars were missing April 28.

DUI accident: Tracy L. Gallick, 49, of Maple Drive, Library, was charged with DUI April 30 at the intersection of Bebout and Valley Brook roads. According to reports, police found Gallick sitting in her “heavily disabled” car and detected a strong odor of alcohol. Police said Gallick was eastbound on Valley Brook Road and tried to turn right onto Bebout Road, but ran over a stop sign. Gallick refused medical attention at the scene.

Purse taken: An employee of Max & Erma’s on Washington Road said April 29 that her Coach change purse containing $400 in cash was taken. According to police, the employee used the purse to make change and had left it at a cash register. When she returned, it was missing.

Multiple DUIs: Around 1:35 a.m. May 1, police stopped Garry D. Wells, 58, of Simmons Avenue, Library, for driving without rear lights in the 4100 block of Washington Road. Police said a strong odor of alcohol was detected on Wells and charged him with DUI. Two hours later, 3:38 a.m. a different Peters Township police officer who saw Wells at the police station saw him driving. He pulled Wells over and learned he had a suspended license because of a separate DUI incident. Wells was arrested again and driven home by township police. Additional charges are likely, police said.

DUI: Kendra Kozel, 21, of Ben Til Road, Pittsburgh was arrested for DUI May 2 at the intersection of Washington Road and Pleasant View Road in McMurray. According to police, a resident of Grandview Drive in McMurray called police to complain that a motorist was driving through yards and had destroyed a decorative rabbit display.

Two-vehicle accident: No one was injured, but a car had to be towed in a two-vehicle accident that took place the afternoon of May 3. According to police, Sarah Neky, 16, of High Street, was eastbound on the 800 block of East McMurray when Gabriella Zacharia, 16, of Bower Hill Road, Venetia, attempted a left hand turn. Neky took evasive action and ended up going over a hill.

Home burglary: Police are investigating a home burglary in the 200 block of Thompsonville Road that occurred May 4. According to police, there were no signs of forced entry and a number of minor items, including $150 in cash, a camcorder and an older Play Station, were taken. The incident remains under investigation.
