Retail theft: Police are investigating the theft of glass frames Oct. 27 at Eye Couture, 5217 Library Road. A suspect was captured on police video, police said.
Counterfeit bills: Giant Eagle on Library Road receive three counterfeit $50 bills on Oct. 29, which were turned over to the Secret Service. Police said the same day there was a report that Pet Supplies Plus, 5229 Library Road, received counterfeit $50 bills. The incident remains under investigation.
Generator taken: Police are investigating the theft of a generator reported taken Oct. 29 from a home on Oakhurst Road.
Castle Shannon
Fraudulent documents: Police sent a summons Oct. 24 to David Barden, 41, of 252 S. Mt. Vernon Ave., Oliphant Furnace, for fraudulent vehicle documents.
Mt. Lebanon
Burglary and assault: Police arrested Lily Suhody, 18, of 146 Morrison Drive, Dormont, Oct. 23 on Vallevista Avenue and charged her with burglary, simple assault and false information to law enforcement.
Retail theft: Michael Bucaro, 47, of 738 McLain Street, Pittsburgh, was arrested Oct. 22 on Cochran Road and charged with retail theft and driving with a suspended license.
Peters Township
One-car accident: Two people received minor injuries following a collision with a deer Oct. 26 in the 2900 block of Washington Road. Police said a car driven by Aase Fraser, 74, of Wayne, Pa., was northbound when the deer jumped in front of her. Both Fraser, and her passenger, Joyce Smith, 75, of Lattidome Drive, Upper St. Clair, declined treatment at the scene. Fraser’s car had to be towed, police said.
Mailboxes damaged: Nine mailboxes belonging to homes in the 100, 300, and 500 blocks of Justabout Road in Venetia were damaged Oct. 31 by thrown pumpkins, police said.
Decorations damaged: A styrofoam tombstone and inflatable pumpkin in the yard of a home in the 100 block of Kimber Drive were vandalized Oct. 31, police said.
Two-car accident: One car had to be towed, but no one was hurt in a two-car accident that occurred in the 900 block of Venetia Road. According to reports, a vehicle driven by Shane Crawley, 20, of Jane Street, Pittsburgh, struck the rear of a vehicle driven by Melissa Parsons, 18, of Clairton. Crawley’s car had to be towed from the scene.
Squirrel thrown: A dead squirrel was thrown by a passing motorist Nov. 2 at teachers picketing in front of Peters Township High School, police said.
Window broken: Juveniles throwing rocks broke a window of a business in the 100 block of Waterdam Road. The juveniles were caught, but the business owner declined to press charges and asked that they pay for his window to be repaired, police said.

Graffiti: A black swastika was spray painted on the center of the 1200 block of Newberry Highland Road in Bridgeville on Oct. 30, police said.
