Dark Horse Consort

Renaissance & Baroque presents the Dark Horse Consort, an ensemble of 10 musicians dedicated to the brass repertoire of the 17th-century, on Nov. 14 at Synod Hall in Oakland.

The performance will bring to life the music heard in St. Mark’s Basilica, and feature the brilliant and resounding multiple choir canzoni by Gabrieli and Giovanni Picchi and the stunningly virtuosic sonatas by Dario Castello.
