Retired Men meet
Register by Nov. 13 for the November meeting of the Retired Men’s Luncheon Group of Pleasant Hills, which will take place at noon on Nov. 19 in the Fellowship Hall of the Pleasant Hills Community Presbyterian Church. Choral groups from Thomas Jefferson High School will entertain. Cost of lunch is $7. Call 412-655-2000 by the deadline to be included in the lunch order.
Senior lunch/movie
Register by Nov. 13 for Mt. Lebanon Recreation Department’s senior luncheon and movie matinee set for Nov. 17 at the Mt. Lebanon Rec Center, 2nd floor, Room A, for senior adults and their adult guests (Mt. Lebanon residency not required). Check-in is at 10:30 a.m. Bring a canned good for the food bank. Bingo, games and prizes will take place at 11, followed by a traditional Thanksgiving lunch buffet and 50/50 raffle at noon and a movie on the big screen at 1. Preregistration required. Walk-ins are not encouraged and will only be accepted if space permits (a late fee will be charged). Fee of $6 per person is due by the deadline. For more information, call 412-343-3409.
AIC
The Adult Interest Center at Southminster Presbyterian Church, Mt. Lebanon, offers entertainment, information, fellowship and a meal for active, older adults in the South Hills. Programs are held at 11 a.m. Fridays through June, and are free and open to all. Lunch is served at noon for $6. No reservations are necessary. Vintage Radio Players return to the golden age of radio on Nov. 13 with two episodes of “Fibber McGee and Molly.” And on Nov. 20, George Suhon will take requests with his guitar and accordion.
