Retail theft: Police assisted Lowe’s loss prevention Nov. 13 with a shoplifter. Raina Unglaud, 27, of Bethel Park will be charged via summons, according to police.
Cecil Township
Drug arrest: Police arrested Joshua Cowden, 25, of 3766 Morganza Road, Bridgeville, Nov. 11 on Millers Run Road. According to police, Cowden was a passenger in a car that was pulled over for a traffic violation. Police searched Cowden and found 18 stamp bags of heroin, drug paraphernalia and a knife. He was charged with tampering with evidence, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Peters Township
Two-vehicle accident: Police said Domenico Pasquarelli Jr., 28, of Ammons Drive, McMurray, was southbound in the 3600 block of Washington Road the afternoon of Nov. 10. He was attempting a left turn when his vehicle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Bunny Seitz, 42, of Old Washington Road, Pittsburgh. According to reports, Pasquarelli complained of neck and back pain. His vehicle had to be towed from the scene, police said.
Motorist injured: Police said a vehicle driven by Paul Trunzo, 58, of Pfiel Street, Brownsville, was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Timothy Corbett, 59, of Peartree Drive, Canonsburg, Nov. 10. According to police, Trunzo was driving in the southbound lane in the 4200 block of Washington Road and had slowed because of traffic conditions. He was taken by ambulance to Canonsburg Hospital for evaluation.
