AIC
The Adult Interest Center at Southminster Presbyterian Church, Mt. Lebanon, offers entertainment, information, fellowship and a meal for active, older adults in the South Hills. Programs are held at 11 a.m. Fridays through June, and are free and open to all. Lunch is served at noon for $6. No reservations are necessary. On Nov. 20, George Suhon will take requests with his guitar and accordion. AIC will be closed on Nov. 27 in observance of Thanksgiving. Chanukah luncheon
A Chanukah Seniors Luncheon will be held at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at the South Hills Jewish Community Center in Scott. The event, cosponsored by Chabad of the South Hills and the South Hills JCC, will include a Kosher lunch with hot Latkas, menorah lighting and Chanukah music. Suggested donation is $5. Senior luncheons
Peters Township Recreation Center sponsors senior luncheons at the Community Recreation Center at Peterswood Park from noon-2 p.m. the second Wednesday of each month. Entertainment, a speaker or an interactive activity is provided. The event is free, but guests are asked to bring a covered dish or dessert to share.
