New administrator heads Mt. Lebanon capital campaign, foundation

Mt. Lebanon School Board on Monday approved Sloane McCabe Astorino as district director of advancement.
She will lead the district’s Century of Excellence Capital Campaign and serve as executive director of the Mt. Lebanon Foundation for Education.
Astorino has worked at Carnegie Mellon University since 2008, as a leadership annual giving officer and currently as major gift officer. Prior to Carnegie Mellon, she was assistant director for annual giving at Chatham University and communication coordinator for The Pittsburgh Foundation.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
