Mt. Lebanon residents are invited to a forum to provide input about the qualities and skill set they might like to see in a new manager.

The forum is scheduled from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 12, at the municipal building.

Manager Stephen Feller has resigned, effective Oct. 15, to take a new job. Planning officer Keith McGill will serve as interim manager.

The municipal manager is hired by the Mt. Lebanon Commission to carry out its policies and run the town on a day to day basis, including the hiring and supervision of all staff and the oversight of all municipal programs, facilities and activities.

Commissioners hired Gov HR USA of Northbrook, Ill., to recruit candidates for the position. In addition to meeting with the general public, the consultant will conduct focus groups with the municipal staff members, business leaders, and members of boards and authorities.
