Castle Shannon
Drug violations: Joseph Koss, 46, of 4007 Greenridge Road, Castle Shannon, was arrested in the 4100 block of Library Road July 31 and charged with driving under the influence and drug violations, police said.
Mt. Lebanon
Retail theft: Joseph Schaffer Jr., 34, of 5997 Daleview Drive, Bethel Park, was arrested by police on Cochran Road July 27. Schaffer is charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property, police said.
Robbery and assault: Devontae Love, 18, of 221 Buchanan Place, Apartment D3, Mt. Lebanon, was arrested on Washington Road July 30 and charged with robbery, aggrevated assault and recklessly endangering another person, police said.
Peters Township
Pistol taken: A resident in the 400 block of Justabout Road told police that someone took a pistol from his vehicle on Aug. 5 or 6. The incident remains under investigation, police said.
Jewelry missing: Police are investigating a large amount of jewelry reported missing Aug. 5 from a home in the 1100 block of Thompsonville Road. Police are waiting for an inventory of the missing items.
South Fayette
Criminal mischief: Someone made deep scratches, ripped off the front grill and dented both ends of a 2012 Mustang parked in the 1200 block of Oakridge Road on Aug. 7, police said. Damages are estimated at $3,000, according to reports.
Retail theft: Two Bridgeville women face retail theft charges stemming from an Aug. 8 incident at Giant Eagle on Washington Pike. According to reports, Jennifer Lynn Colina, 27, and Tiffany Presher, 27, both of Winesap Court, who were dressed in all black, took merchandise in excess of $100 from the store. They were arrested roughly a half mile away at Zion Lutheran Church. Colina, who has an active warrant, was charged with retail theft and false identification. Presher will be charged via summons with retail theft, police said.
