‘A Surprise for Lydia’

Little Lake Theatre closes its “Looking Glass” summer season of plays for young audiences with the world premiere production of “A Surprise for Lydia.” This lively and colorful new play was written by Little Lake’s former artistic director, Sunny Disney Fitchett.

When Lydia receives a huge mystery box that reads, “Do not open until the cows come home,” her imagination runs away on an amazing journey. She is joined by her best friend, Penny; eccentric aunts Gracie and Violet; the “Imagination Ensemble”; and four live little pups that just might steal the show. “A Surprise for Lydia” runs at 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Wednesdays and 1:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, through Aug. 27.

Individual tickets are $11.75 (includes processing fee.)
